Photo & Likeness Release

This Photo & Likeness Release ("Release") is a public summary of the agreement contestants and (where applicable) parents or guardians sign upon application to Uplift Tri-State Gulf Coast USA. The signed version is binding and is provided in the application portal.

Grant of License

By submitting photos, videos, or audio of yourself (or your minor child, if you are a parent or legal guardian completing this Release on their behalf), you grant Gala Glitterati Group, LLC ("GGG"), its successors, assigns, and authorized licensees a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

• Use, reproduce, modify, edit, publish, distribute, and publicly display your image, likeness, voice, name, biographical content, performance, and submitted media
• Do so in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to: the Uplift website, GGG marketing materials, social media platforms, broadcast and streaming media, print materials, sponsor co-marketing materials, partner co-marketing materials, press releases, archival use, and licensed merchandise
• Authorize sublicensees (sponsors, partners, broadcasters, publishers) to use the same materials in connection with Uplift and GGG productions

Specific Uses Authorized

• Publication on Uplift website pages including contestant profiles, leaderboards, titleholder pages, the Hall of Titleholders, and the Founding Class archive
• Use in Uplift social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Pinterest, Reddit, and any other platforms used by GGG)
• Use in promotional materials for current and future Uplift competition cycles
• Use in sponsor and partner co-marketing materials where Uplift is featured
• Use in press releases and news media coverage
• Use in broadcast or streaming coverage of live Uplift events
• Archival use indefinitely

What You Are Not Entitled To

• Compensation, royalties, or residuals from any use of the licensed materials
• Approval rights over specific creative uses (though we strive to use materials in flattering and dignifying ways consistent with the Uplift brand)
• The right to demand removal of materials from past publication or use

Minors: Parental / Guardian Consent

If the contestant is under 18 years of age, this Release must be signed by a parent or legal guardian on the minor's behalf. By signing on a minor's behalf, the parent or guardian:

• Affirms that they are the parent or legal guardian with full authority to grant this Release
• Has the option to limit the scope of permitted uses to "competition only" (no marketing, no archival use beyond active competition); this option must be selected at the time of signing and may not be selected after the fact
• Acknowledges that limiting the scope may affect the minor's eligibility for certain non-core uses, including titleholder feature pages
• Retains the right to withdraw the minor from current and future competition; however, materials already published or licensed cannot be retracted after the fact

Photos and videos of minors are never used in advertising for products or services unrelated to Uplift or Gala Glitterati Group productions.

Restrictions on Use

GGG agrees that licensed materials:

• Will not be used in defamatory, sexually suggestive, or offensive contexts
• Will not be sold to third parties unaffiliated with Uplift or GGG for their independent commercial use
• Will not be used to make false claims about the contestant or their participation

Your Representations

By signing this Release, you represent and warrant that:

• You are of legal age to grant this Release (or you are the parent/legal guardian of the minor contestant)
• You own or have the right to grant the rights described
• The submitted materials do not infringe the privacy, publicity, copyright, or other rights of any third party
• The submitted materials do not include identifiable third parties who have not consented to inclusion

Withdrawal of Participation

You may withdraw the contestant from current and future Uplift competition at any time by emailing info@galaglitteratigroup.com. Withdrawal does not require Uplift to retract or remove materials already published, licensed, broadcast, or archived. Forward-looking uses will be discontinued upon withdrawal.

Governing Law

This Release is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes are heard in Bay County, Florida, consistent with our Terms of Service.

Signature Required Before Publication

This Release is included as part of the contestant application package. Photos and videos cannot be published, used in marketing, or archived for future use until a signed Release (or a parental-signed Release for minors) is on file.
